"TRUE" is for sale!  The True North 38 is a fast sensible family express cruiser inspired by the New England lobster boat. The 38 profile features a powerful vertical stem, graceful shear and classic reverse transom. Powered by a single Yanmar 440, the boat comfortably cruises up to 24 knots with an average speed of 18 knots depending on sea conditions.
Designed around the idea that every corner of the boat should have "good" elbow room, the 38' represents a well thought out interior. The forward section of the boat includes a comfortable roomy forward cabin with vee births and filler, head and shower with complete privacy below provided by three step companion way and sliding lexan door.
The main salon consists of a large galley to starboard with a stainless steel Frigiboat® refrigerator, double stainless sink, three burner propane stove, microwave, storage locker for pots and pans with ample storage for silverware and utensils. To port, there is a comfortable convertible dinette that makes up into "full" size berth when the table is lowered.
Moving aft outside into a large cockpit with open transom, access to the fore deck is provided by extra wide side decks. Access to the engine room is through a large hydraulic or manual hatch in the center of the main cabin. Access to the fuel tanks and muffler system is through a center cockpit hatch or the entire cockpit floor can be unbolted and raised for complete access to all areas below.
