Following on from the previous success of their 370 range, Nord West now launches their larger models fully taking advantage of their multi award winning 4-series hull. This Benny Martinsson designed hull has won acclaim world wide and now becomes available as a full size sports cruiser. New owners can chose from an amazing three alternative layouts variying widely from two double state rooms with two heads and shower rooms, to three double cabins complementing with a single head. The choice is yours.

Owners can also chose between a traditional fully open topped boat giving maximum exposure to the sky or the new practical alternative of a sports top with electrically folding roof giving new dimensions of open sky. Each innovative cockpit offers both high and low level seating with innovative wet bar area. The standard of Nord West finish brings to the discerning client new high levels of excellence. But this is only part of the story. Now add Nord West´s reputation and ability to provide both exhilarating performance coupled with outstanding sea-keeping and levels of comfort.

The 430 cockpit is beautiful, practical and innovative. A double helm seat with lifting base allows for two people to either sit or stand behind the helm. Angles for the placement of all instruments have been carefully calculated to give perfect visibility and anti-glare finish to the console area to avoid distracting reflections.

Opposite the helm to port is a large safe and supportive upper seating area designed to be at windscreen level for those choosing to sit here, alternatively there is room for this area to be utilized as a sun berth with rounded head cushion.

The lower seating area which can be converted to a full sunbathing bed by lowering the electrical operated table can also accommodate up to 8 people for eating or enjoying a sociable drink.

Opposite the seating area is a well designed wet bar which can accommodate electric BBQ griddle, refrigerator, icemaker and has a fitted plunge sink. Nord West has by design accommodated drink holders around the cockpit area where necessary.

The company

Nord West builds motorboats from 37 to 56 feet in length, eg 10-17 meters. The yard is situated on the island of ORUST, which has a strong boat building tradition for building quality seaworthy craft. Nord West creates motorboats with a unique spirit marrying modern design efficiency with classic goodlooks.

In 2000, Nord West launched a new concept design, the Nord West 390, designed and constructed in-house by Benny Martinsson, the owner and Managing Director. The 390 had the benefit of a low drag resistant hull and had the appearance incorporating sweeping contours. This new model attracted enormous interest and was voted Boat of the Show in Stockholm when it was unveiled. The next new model to be launched in 2006, the Nord West 420, went one step further winning the coveted award UK Motor Boat of the Year 2007. Further to this the 420 was given this award for an unprecedented second year running in 2008 placing Nord West in a unique position of being the only manufacturer to win this accolade twice for the same model. In 2008 Nord West launched a 370 series in several different versions; flybridge, coupe and a new sports cruiser range. A compact, living boat with superb seagoing characteristics and a high level of comfort together with low operating costs. The latest addition to the fleet are the Nord West 430 sports cruisers, which will be launch in 2010.

Nord West is a family owned business, which consists of a boat yard and manufacturing facility at Vindön/Orust and a further modern new facility in Lysekil producing all of the company’s mouldings. Nord Wests have successfully been exported to many countries in addition to their traditional markets of Scandinavia, Germany and the UK.
