The National Marine Distributors Association opens its annual Sales, Training, Education & Purchasing (S.T.E.P.) Conference

Nearly 300 participants from over 100 leading marine products distributors, manufacturers and manufacturers representative firms will hold more than 900 purchasing meetings during the two-day event at the Las Vegas Hilton which concludes on Tuesday, July 18. As it has since 2003, the conference will lead into MAATS (Marine Aftermarket Accessories Trade Show), which will be held July 19-21 at the Hilton and the Las Vegas Convention Center.
S.T.E.P. purchasing meetings will be held Monday and Tuesday from 8 am to 6 pm (Pacific Time). At a luncheon on Monday, NMDA will present its annual Supplier of the Year Awards. There will be a reception on Monday evening and the conference will officially end on Tuesday evening with participants attending the MAATS welcome reception at the Hilton.
