MARATHON, FLORIDA (USA) - The StayAlive Life Jacket manufactured by Innovations & Solutions, Inc. will be featured in a unique safety products design exhibition opening October 16 at The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York.
"SAFE: Design Takes on Risk" runs at MoMA through January 2, 2006 and will present innovative products and prototypes designed to protect the body and mind.

StayAlive Life Jacket
The StayAlive Life Jacket (pictured right) was invented by retired Florida Marine Patrol Officer Dan Williams. It combines a US & Canadian Coast Guard-approved personal flotation device with necessary safety items to greatly improve the chances of survival and rescue in emergency situations. With StayAlive, survival gear, including signaling devices, is in the hands of the wearer in the water, not left behind on a vessel in trouble.Each StayAlive Life Jacket includes:
- 45 ft. Buoyant heaving line (Canadian Coast Guard requirement);
- Water-tight Orion flashlight (Canadian requirement);
- 3 Orion water proof flares (US and Canadian requirement);
- Sound signaling device, whistle (US and Canadian requirement);
- Collapsible bailer (Canadian requirement);
- Floating international distress flag;
- Manual propelling device;
- Signaling mirror with lanyard;
- Inflatable signaling device with reflective tape molded on the unit;
- Buddy lanyard to secure group together;
- Two phosphorescent light sticks.
