Sensation AustraliaAs one of the most exciting, innovative and highly-recognised superyacht designers and builders in the world today, Sensation New Zealand is not only revolutionising the way the industry works, it is also rapidly redefining the expectations of the market.

Established in Auckland, New Zealand in 1978, Sensation has virtually rewritten the way superyachts are built, pushing the boundaries of thinking and technology to create new standards of quality and performance while achieving unprecedented efficiencies in time and cost.

Having spent several years in development, Sensation has pioneered a resin-infusion technology to successfully build the world's first resin infused vessel over 150 feet in length, dramatically-reducing the amount of time and materials needed in the process.

Previous success with composite materials produced Maria Cha III, the 148' composite superketch that smashed the trans Atlantic sailing record in 1998 (and won the coveted 'International Super Yacht Design Award' and 'Most Innovative Sailing Yacht Award' in the same year). Further developing composite construction techniques have led to an unprecedented example of construction technology not seen in the Megayacht market and rival only to aerospace.

Sensation AustraliaSensation Yachts, whist still producing its world renowned fully customised superyachts (Considered within the top 10 in the world) is supplementing its range and has developed a portfolio of semi-custom composite superyachts based on the same basic set of tooling. The advanced technology and modular build approach has been conceived to encompass varying styles and sizes of models from 28m-54m (95ft-178ft). They are marketed as the 'Volare', 'Allegro' and 'Heritage' series. Sensation believes that this is as close to a series built machine as one can get within the superyacht market.

In order to meet demand for these magnificent luxury motor yachts Sensation has spent 2 years seeking new sites and made the bold move to expand from its West Auckland, New Zealand premise and is pleased to announce the opening of Sensation Australia.

Situated on Fitzroy St, Newcastle, (1 hour North of Sydney), New South Wales, Sensation Australia represents the company's ongoing development within the region and within the superyacht market.
