Sea Independence organised the first Captains's Dinner in Mallorca

Palma, Club de Mar. On Friday, 14 May, Sea Independence organised the first Captains's Dinner in Mallorca. At bright sunshine one met at 19:00 p.m. at the swimming pool of the Club de Mar for a substantial BBQ. - And the sun was already shining again when the last guests returned to their boats...
Many of the captains of course knew each other. Experiences were exchanged and fond memories were called to mind. But there were also a lot of new faces to discover and new people to meet with. People were laughing and discussing, dancing and enjoying the food and the beverages, shop-talking and making a night of it.
By this party Sea Independence intended to show that the company is well aware of the importance the captains hold with regard to the yachting business. They are the link between the owners and Sea Independence. The personal contact Sea Independence maintains to the captains will contribute to jointly find a rapid and optimum solution for all requirements, no matter brokerage, charter or refit.
Sea Independence is looking forward to a very good cooperation and the next Captains? Dinner in the coming year!

- 90 litres of wine and more than 150 litres of beer, 75 litres of champagne and nearly 250 long drinks were served together with table water and soft drinks;
- 400 fillet steaks, 350 pork chops and 800 sausages of all different tastes, furthermore 350 pork bellies, lots of grilled potatoes, 750 rolls and different salads were consumed;
- 267 captains and 112 captains wives or girlfriends were present;
- 192 captains with boats of more than 25 m participated.
