Mike Goebel announced as head of Bertram product line

Allied Richard Bertram Marine Group is proud to make the official announcement of Mike Goebel as head of the Bertram product line. Mr. Goebel, a 42-year veteran of the marine industry, is a welcome addition to the ARB family and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table.
Starting his career almost half-a-century ago, Mike Goebel knows the marine industry inside and out. Most of his working life was spent at another South Florida marine institution, PipeWelders, where he started as a helper and pipe bender. Through hard work and diligence, Mr. Goebel worked his way up to finish his career with PipeWelders as the Vice President/General Manager. An avid fisherman, Mr. Goebel was a natural choice for Allied Richard Bertram when they were in need of an individual to take the helm of their Bertram product line. "I'd fished with Mike in the past," said ARB President and marine industry veteran George Jousma, "and I knew he was the right man for the job. His knowledge of the Bertram product, the sportfish lifestyle, and everything that comes along with it is unsurpassed."
Upon Mr. Goebel's joining of the company, Allied Richard Bertram promptly went out and took first place in the 2004 Bahamas Billfish Championship. The winning boat, a 570 Bertram named "Tangled in Blue", is the first ARB boat to win the BBC in over a decade. Mr. Goebel was an integral part of the team that helped bring home the first place award. "I feel that this will be > the first in a long line of trophies for Allied Richard Bertram" says Mike, "I'm proud to be a part of such a winning team and know that we will have nothing but continued success in the future."
