MY Sherakhan

After a very successful season in the Mediterranean, which started with an unexpected charter the first week of May and ended the last day of August, the MY Sherakhan has returned to her homeland for a complete repainting of the hull. In an almost two month dock-period the Sherakhan will be repainted on the outside so she can return to the Caribbean in December for another wonderful charter season. |

In our last mail we asked you to give us advice about the color of the Sherakhan...... should it stay dark blue or should we give the Sherakhan a new color? We received a lot of response! Most of you advised us to paint the Sherakhan dark grey...... and so we will!! This will be with a full, glossy yacht finish that will really draw the eye. |

The interior of the Sherakhan will be detailed as it is every autumn and spring ensuring that carpets, covers and all soft furnishings are in perfect condition. All together it will be a as good as new sailing yacht, expected to be ready for charter in March 2009 in the Mediterranean. SY Thuraya is a LOA 31 meter (102 feet) sailing yacht, originally build in 1982. After the refit the Thuraya can host 8 guests and 4 or 5 crew members. Air-conditioning will be available in every room! Furthermore the Thuraya has a lot of high level equipment, like a Novorania tender, watersport equipment, satellite television, satellite communication and wireless internet (When Wi-Fi is available). The SY Thuraya will be presented at the Genoa Boat show in may 2009.
