We are extremely pleased to announce that East Coast Yacht Sales is now the exclusive dealer for Tartan Marine in Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Tartan is celebrating their 50th Anniversary this year, going back to 1960 when Charlie Britton and Olin Stephens launched their first Tartan 27.

Tartan has been sold to Steve Malbasa and he brings a fresh new attitude to the next 50 years at Tartan.

Steve's Agenda:

• Operate the business with a 'customer first' focus. In our business we really have two sets of customers - the boat owners and the dealers who represent them. We need to cause both of them to experience only the highest level of satisfaction with our boats and services.
• Create a working environment for all our associates that leads to passion and pride in their work.
• Achieve a level of profitability to ensure another 50 years of producing quality Tartan and C&C sailboats, but only after achieving the first two objectives.
   

East Coast Yacht Sales will have a great display of Tartans at the Newport Boat Show including the 5300, 4400 and the 3700. We will also be displaying J Boats, Grand Banks and the MJM line, too.
