Tradewinds Foundation's Weller Days are yacht lunch cruises dedicated for children with cancer and their families. Once a month, through a partnership with Joe DiMaggio Hospital, Tradewinds Foundation recruits a family or two to enjoy an afternoon of lunch aboard a private yacht. John Weller, cancer survivor and yacht broker for Allied Richard Bertram Group, recruits the yachts for each outing.

Weller Days began in October, after John returned from Texas, where he was being treated for his cancer, at MD Anderson. John came back with the dedication of giving back to children who are also going through treatment. Tradewinds Foundation is dedicated to offering boating opportunities for those with special needs so it was a perfect partnership.

Please join us on December 26, 12:00-3:00 p.m. for our next Weller Day outing. We will be hosting a family on Motoryacht - Le Maison Blanc, 2870 NE 35th Street. Ms. Patty Whitehouse is the owner of Le Maison Blanc and will be donating her time and the use of her yacht and captain for the day.
