Committed to providing unsurpassed service to their megayacht customers, Bay Ship & Yacht hired expert systems engineer, project manager, designer, and USCG Captain Benjamin "Ben" Chisholm to join their naval architect and marine engineering department as Systems Specialist.

Chisholm's impressive background includes serving as Engineer and Project Manager for numerous large yachts (power and sail), naval architects and yacht design companies. Bay Ship & Yacht first had the opportunity to work with Chisholm when Chisholm served as Engineer and Project Manager for a motor yacht that underwent a mid-body extension, increasing its overall length from 107' to 140' at the Alameda shipyard.

Bay Ship & Yacht leapt at the opportunity to hire Chisholm, impressed by Chisholm's understanding of the intricacies of designing ship's systems and his ability to work seamlessly in conjunction with Bay Ship & Yacht's team of experts, as well as the yacht's owner, captain and crew.  Chisholm's extensive background in management, maintenance and repair of ship's systems while both under sail and pier side makes him the perfect addition to Bay Ship & Yacht's in-house naval architecture and marine engineering department.
