Atlantic boothSTONINGTON, CONNECTICUT (USA) - A new, interactive show booth and the introduction of new products helped Atlantic Marketing Company, one of the oldest marine manufacturers representatives firms on the US east coast, achieve stronger than expected sales at the fall 2005 dealer shows.

"With so many challenges facing the marine industry, we knew going into the dealer show season that we would have to do things differently to succeed for our manufacturers," said Atlantic Marketing Company President Brandon Flack. "Standing out at the shows became a top priority. Our new booth was designed as part of our continuing effort to show dealers how they could creatively merchandise the product lines we represent," he added.

Atlantic Marketing also introduced a variety of new products at the annual shows hosted by distributors Kellogg, Mesco, Morgan, Donovan, Keller, Lewis and Fawcett. "Sales of new products from our existing clients were good, but new manufacturers such as Mallory, Uflex, Kwik Tek and Lifesafe had really strong shows," Flack said. "There is a clear lesson here for everyone involved in the marketing of marine products. The dealers were hungry for what was new, innovative and different. They wanted the latest and were looking for the best, not just what someone wanted to show them," he said.
