Description

Mainship, a subsidiary of the Luhrs Maine Group, which also owns Silverton and Hunter Sailboats, is a spin-off of the original (and very successful) Mainship 34 Trawler introduced by Silverton Marine in 1978. The Mainship line was quickly expanded in subsequent years to include several sedan cruiser and double-cabin models, and by the early 1990s Mainship was offering a full line of family-oriented designs including express cruisers and motoryachts. The current Mainship lineup includes a full line of very attractively priced sedans and motoryachts. The company has earned an enviable reputation over the years for delivering excellent value thanks to modern low-cost production methods and its policy of including an extensive list of standard equipment with each model. In a return to the company’s origins, Mainship has dedicated itself to the trawler market in recent years with a series of affordable trawler-style cruisers from 30 to 43 feet in length.
