Situated on picturesque Fidalgo Island, the city is the gateway for Washington’s ferry run to the San Juan Islands and Victoria, B.C. Anacortes, commonly referred to as “the drive-to island,” is easily accessible and boasts a beautiful waterfront and marina, a charming downtown center, and a friendly community.
