LE COCHON NOIR V has four double berth staterooms, one large Owner suite and three approximately equal size staterooms plus a forepeak cabin. The Bordeaux 75 (predecessor to the Bordeaux 76 and the actual Bordeaux 77) is a sleek, fast sailing yacht with two cockpits, a powerful rig and beautiful lines. Beginning forward, the forepeak is accessed from a large hatch in the foredeck and double sail storage or crew accommodation with wc and shower for one/two crew. The forward large Owner stateroom has a central Queen sized double berth with drawer storage, a hanging locker, book shelves, lateral shaped settee, vanity, LCD TV and large ensuite head with wc, bidet and separate large shower room with natural air and light. Natural lighting and air in the stateroom and ensuite head provided by hatches in the overhead and fixed hull ports. Next aft is the full beam main saloon, discussed below. The galley, also described in detail below, is to starboard and aft of the main saloon. Access to the after staterooms from here is provided by way of the service/machinery room, but more typically one would use the companionway from the aft/sailing cockpit. Aft and to port of the main saloon is the second guest stateroom a Queen sized berth, locker and drawer storage, ensuite head and shower compartment, and plenty of natural light and air from a hatch and a hull port. The third guest stateroom is to port of the after companionway to the cockpit, and is again the equivalent of the second stateroom, with a Queen sized berth, locker and drawer storage, ensuite head and shower compartment, and plenty of natural light and air from a hatch and a hull port. The captain's cabin to starboard of the after companionway has a generous double berth, ensuite head and shower compartment, and a full size navigation and communications desk. A sound proofed door allows to the service/machinery room, and to the galley.
MAIN SALOON This spacious room enjoys the full beam of the yacht, almost 20 feet, and has wonderful natural light from the full wrap around windows, two fixed hull ports, two hatches in the overhead, and the main large companionway to the center cockpit. A C-shaped settee to port faces a handsome varnished dining table that seats eight to diner. To starboard and forward, an L-shaped settee and coffee table faces the LCD television/entertainment center with CD/DVD/satellite TV and the cabinetry in the aft starboard corner with frigobar and icemaker. GALLEY
The galley is to starboard and aft of the main saloon and, centrally positioned, is convenient to the dining table and center guest cockpit. It has commodious storage and layout designed to cater to large parties, natural light and air. |
