Remarks

Foxhound has a pedigree to rival any yacht on the market today. She was built in 1935 for Ikey Bell, she was the first yacht to be built under the then new 12meter Offshore International Rule. This was in the era of classic racing yachts including the J class yachts, and Foxhounds racing history is full of successes in various Fastnet and Admirals Cup events. Foxhound arrived in Portugal in 1954, owned and skippered by the Hon Mrs Rachel Pitt-Rivers, after winning the Bermuda Race.

Her current owners have owned the yacht for 40 years, and kept her as near as possible to her original design. During this ownership she has been visited by Royalty and enthusiasts alike, and with her sweeping lines and graceful performance she draws crowds wherever she sails.

The Sellers have requested that the vessel is not advertised. Details are to be forwarded to private buyers looking to acquire a timeless classic.
