DESCRIPTION

TIA’ MOANA is a purpose built 5 star Nomade style cruising yacht. Spanning 5 decks. TIA’ MOANA offers accommodations for up to 50 guests in 2 VIP Suites, 4 King sized Cabins, 2 Queen sized Cabins, 2 Twin bedded Cabins and 15 Double sized Cabins. The public rooms on TIA’ MOANA consist of The Library, The Main Lounge/Bar, The Gymnasium, The Spa, Main Reception and The Restaurant .

With over 700 sq meters of deck space, TIA’ MOANA offers expansive and intimate areas for dining, sunning or relaxing.

 

The general exterior finishes on TIA’ MOANA are that of a high level commercial vessel featuring painted aluminium topsides and bulkheads, Flexy‐Teek PVC decks and polished stainless steel railings and fittings. The 3 aft decks are accessed by a stainless steel and Perspex spiral staircase and the “ANAPA” deck is accessed by stairs leading from the portside of the “VAVOAU” deck lobby. Special attention has been given to outdoor fittings and lighting.

 

The general interior finishes on TIA’ MOANA are that of a 5 star boutique hotel. All 4 guest decks are accessed by a spiral staircase made of art glass with a custom Swedish leather handrail. The staircase surround is clad with iridescent aqua marine mosaic tiles. The main deck features a large entrance foyer with a reception desk, seating area and gallery show cases. The walls are clad wood and the sole is tiled with marble like Amtico tile.

 

The reception area features unique applications of 5 different hard woods and a unique selection of Polynesian art and sculptures. Special attention has been given to interior lighting and fixtures. All of the interior spaces feature unique Polynesian art and sculptures.

 

The “VAVAU” and “UPORU” decks feature landings with seating areas. The companion ways onboard TIA’ MOANA are clad with wood and silk wallpaper with Amtico Cherry and Holly soles and customs hall runners. No less 16 exotic hardwoods are featured throughout the interior of TIA’ MOANA“ANAPA” Deck – The “ANAPA” deck or sun deck features a large centrally located Jacuzzi clad with luminescent aqua marine mosaic tiles, a centrally located deck bar, and forward and aft lounging areas. At night the aft section of the “ANAPA” deck is transformed into an outdoor cinema with a 12 square meter cinema screen that can be viewed from both sides.

 

Wet Bar – the centrally located wet bar services both the forward and aft lounging areas, the bar is clad in iridescent aqua marine tile and topped with varnished teak. The forward section of the bar features 5 teak and stainless fixed bar stools, the aft section of the bar has a standing area.

 

The bar is outfitted with commercial hotel appliances:

3‐ Triple sinks with stainless steel counters and cabinets

Aft Lounging Area – facing aft is a large centrally located DEDON sun bed flanked by 2 large L shaped seating on the port and starboard sides and 2 DEDON club chairs aft. This entire area can be tented.

 

Forward Lounging area – the forward area of the ANAPA” Deck features 4 ‐2 person DEDON loungers, 1 large DEDON cube lounging area and one conversation area with 2 DEODN love seats and a coffee table. The central area of the forward deck is tented.

 

Port Lounging area – on the portside of the mast there is a single DEDON sun lounger and table with an outdoor shower on the portside of the mast.

“VAVAU” Deck – the “VAVAU” deck or bridge deck accommodates the Bridge, Officer and Staff Cabins and 2 VIP Suites as well as the bridge deck verandas and the VIP aft deck.

 

Bridge ‐ the bridge is commercially outfitted with Formica clad surfaces and a Cherry and Holly Amtico Sole. There are desk areas to port and starboard and 3 centrally located Grammer Bremshey manual helm seats. (Seenavigation equipment list)

 

Officer/Staff Cabins – aft of the bridge there are 6 double Officer/Staff Cabins, these Cabins are outfitted to the same level as the Guest Cabins.

 

Bridge Deck Verandas – there are veranda areas on the forward port and starboard side decks that feature 3 ‐ “tet au tet” seating areas with DEDON chairs and tables on each side.

 

“VAVAU” Deck Lobby – there is a small lobby located mid ship at the top of the spiral staircase with access to the Officers Cabins, Verandas and VIP Suites.

VIP Suites – aft on the “VAVAU” deck there are 2 VIP Suites, the Suites have been made by combining two of the largest guest cabins into one suite. The Suites are clad with Wood, Suede and Ostrich skin bulkheads and Cherry and Holly Amtico soles.

 

The area is separated by an entertainment center featuring a 42” pop up plasma television. On the aft side of the entertainment center there is an L‐shaped leather couch, a writing desk and a minibar. Forward of the television there is a King sized bed with 2 built in side tables. The Suites feature 2 triple wardrobes with safes, shelves, drawers and hanging areas. The Suites feature 2 compact ensuite bathrooms with toilets, showers and sinks. The Bathrooms are clad with Formica and Teak with ceramic tile soles. The Bathrooms have a boutique design, with built in teak shelving and stainless steel fixtures. The Suites have a 90degree panoramic view through 3 large windows. There are also 2 nanny or security cabins adjacent to the VIP Suites. Special attention has been given to the lighting and architectural details in this area.

 

VIP Aft Deck – aft of the VIP Suites is a 65 sq meter private VIP aft deck that is accessed by a spiral staircase from the “UPORO” aft deck and the VIP deck passage way. The aft deck features a centrally located DEDON dining table with 8 chairs, port and starboard seating areas with 2 DEDON love seats, 1 DEDON club chair, 1 DEDON sun lounger, 1 DEDON coffee table and 1 DEDON beverage buffet. This area is used exclusively by the VIP Suites.

 

“UPORU” Deck – the “UPORU” deck is the main accommodations deck featuring a Foredeck Observation Area, Library, 4 King Cabins, 8 Double Cabins, 2 Twin Cabins, Lobby, Main Lounge, Powder Room and “UPORO” aft deck.

Foredeck Observation Area – forward on the “UPORU” deck is the Foredeck Observation Area; this area has a 6 person Jacuzzi, a centrally located double sun pad and seating for 6 people on the port and starboard sides.

Library – aft of the Foredeck Observation Area is the library with a 180 degree view, the Library bulkheads are finished with 3 different hardwoods and the soles are covered with Cherry and Holly Amtico with area rugs. The library features built in hardwood cabinets with storage for books and DVD’s as well as an area for using the onboard computer. Special attention has been given to the lighting and architectural details in this area.

 

Guest Cabins – the “UPORU” deck accommodates 13 of the 25 Guest Cabins. Although the sizes of the beds differ, all of the Guest Cabins are finished with the same materials and feature minibars, writing desks, triple wardrobes with safes, shelves, drawers and hanging areas. The Guest Cabins feature compact ensuite bathrooms with toilets, showers and sinks. The Cabin bulkheads are clad with wood paneling and silk wallpaper and the soles are Cherry and Holly Amtico. The Guest Bathrooms are clad with Formica and Teak with ceramic tile soles. The Bathrooms have a boutique design, with built in teak shelving and stainless steel fixtures. Special attention has been given to the lighting and architectural details in this area.

 

“UPORU” Deck Lobby – there is a small lobby located mid ship with access to the Guest Cabins and Main Lounge.

Powder Room – there is a Powder Room just off of main lounge with a central washroom area featuring a pedestal sink and 2 separate toilet rooms. The bulkheads are clad with hardwood and silk wallpaper and the soles are covered with Cherry and Holly Amtico. The Powder Rooms are truly a design feature onboard TIA’MOANA.

 

Main Lounge – the Main Lounge is aft of the “UPORU” deck lobby. The Lounge features a large marble topped bar with 6 bar stools, a centrally located seating are for 10, 2 seating areas for 6 on the port and starboard sides, 2 games tables, a projector TV, a fixed buffet area and 2 library tables. The bulkheads are clad with variety of hardwoods and the soles are covered with Cherry and Holly Amtico and area rugs. Special attention has been given to the lighting and architectural details in this area.

“UPORU” Deck Aft – aft of the Main Lounge is the “UPORU” Deck Aft. There is a centrally located varnished teak buffet with storage and counter areas 2 banquettes aft and 8 varnished teak tables for 4 located in front of the banquettes and on the port and starboard sides.

 

“HAV’I” Deck – the “HAV’I” deck or Main Deck features The Spa, 7 Double Cabins, 2 Queens Sized Cabins, The Gym, Reception, Powder Room, Seating Alcove, The Galley, The Restaurant and the “HAV’I” Deck Aft.

 

Spa – the Spa is located all the way forward on the forward on the “HAV”I” deck The Spa bulkheads are clad with wood paneling and silk wallpaper and the soles are Cherry and Holly Amtico. The Spa is an open room with a massage table and an area for body treatments.

 

Cabins – the “HAV’I” deck accommodates 9 of the 25 Guest Cabins. Although the sizes of the beds differ, all of the guest cabins are finished with the same materials and feature minibars, writing desks, triple wardrobes with safes, shelves, drawers and hanging areas. The guest cabins feature compact ensuite bathrooms with toilets, showers and sinks. The cabin bulkheads are clad with wood paneling and silk wallpaper and the soles are Cherry and Holly Amtico. The Guest Bathrooms are clad with Formica and Teak with ceramic tile soles.

 

The Gym – the Gym is located aft of the cabins on the “HAV’I” deck, the bulkheads are clad with hardwood paneling and mirrors, there is built in cabinetry for storage.

The Reception is focal point of the interior design featuring an oversized reception desk made of multi‐colored wood veneers and topped with Teak. The Reception also serves as the ships gallery with 3 wood and glass showcases displaying Polynesian sculptures and carvings. The sole of Reception is covered in marble like Amtico tiles inlayed with a Polynesian motif.

 

Powder Room – there is a Powder Room located in‐between the Reception and The Restaurant. The Powder Room features a central washroom with a pedestal sink and 2 separate toilet rooms. The bulkheads are clad with hardwood and silk wallpaper and the soles are covered with Cherry and Holly Amtico. The Powder Rooms are truly a design feature onboard TIA’ MOANA.

 

Seating Alcove – there is a small seating alcove just forward of the dining room featuring a large window.

Galley – the Galley is located in the center of The Restaurant. The Galley is outfitted with professional cooking hotel quality restaurant equipment; The Galley is finished to SOLAS commercial kitchen requirement.

 

The Restaurant – The Restaurant is located on the “HAV’I” deck. The focal point of The Restaurant is the centrally located marble topped buffet which incorporates a cold plate, counter space and storage for the breakfast buffet. The bulkheads are clad with variety of hardwoods and the soles are covered with Cherry and Holly Amtico. Fifty guests can dine at one of the 19 Walnut tables seating 2, 4 or 6 guests. The forward bulkhead of The Restaurant features a built in banquet with covers that can be changed for each meal. Special attention has been given to the lighting and architectural details in this area.

 

“HAV’I” Deck Aft – aft of The Restaurant is the “HAV’I” Deck Aft. There is a centrally located spiral staircase and large banquette aft with 5 varnished teak tables for 4. Access to the swimming platform is from either the port or starboard sides.

“TUMAMA” Deck – the “TUMAMA” deck is a working deck that accommodates;
