Accommodations

The main deck is a large, mostly open space with a length of approximately 37m. The teak used for the deck was painstakingly selected to achieve the length and quality. Burma teak was used for the whole deck with particular attention being paid to finding the longest possible pieces of teak while also taking into account that the deck planks had to be wider than normal. Finally the teak used is of uniform grain and colour.
The helm is situated towards the aft of the vessel. Immediately a stern of the helm is a hatch leading to a large stowage, which also provides access to the rudder mechanism. Immediately fore of the helm is a sky light and slightly raised pilot house. This acts as the chart room housing the navigational equipment and providing the main access to the guest accommodation down below.
The master cabin is found to the stern of the ship. This is a spacious cabin with a double bed on the starboard side and a single on the port side. There is plenty of natural light and fresh air from the large sky light above. The en-suite bathroom is just fore of the master cabin on the port side. This can also be accessed directly from the main corridor. Adjacent is a second bathroom. At the same level on the starboard side of the vessel is a spacious single cabin, which has direct access to a double just fore. Directly opposite on the port side is an almost identical double cabin.
The main salon is directly a bow of the guest area. This is a large space with a beautiful skylight above, couch on the port side and the main dinning table on the starboard. Throughout this deck natural light and air are abundant coming through the many sky lights. Authenticity and quality are evident here as indeed throughout the yacht.
Immediately forward of the salon is the galley, easily accessible and with good access to the main deck through the crew quarters, which are situated at the bow of the boat. Here there are 10 foldable bunks enabling the space to be used as sail stowage during regattas. The captains' cabin is slightly aft on the starboard side. The crew can access the main deck through a separate hatch at the bow of the boat.
One level below, the engine room and technical area are fully equipped and in pristine condition. Throughout this level, Vetroflex (water resistant insulation) has been applied to all planks, welds and bilges.
Although built as a racing vessel, S/Y Lulworth is also well suited for cruising in the Mediterranean and entertaining guests.

Remarks

The World's last remaining gaff rigged cutter from the Big Class Yachts of the 1920s. Restored like no other before her with great care and painstaking attention to detail and authenticity. This is a unique opportunity to own a piece of yachting history and to enjoy the experience and the thrill of classic yachting.
