| One of the oldest names in the marine industry, the Rinker Boat Co. was founded by ex-dairy farmer Lossie Rinker in 1945 with a small wooden rowboat design. From his small shop in Noblesville, Indiana, Rinker and his sons soon expanded the business from rowboats to runabouts. Building their boats from wood imported from Nova Scotia, Rinker relocated the company to Syracuse, Indiana, in the 1950s. Then called Rinkerbuilt, a shift to fiberglass in this period made the company one of the first to use this new material. The 1970s saw the company building a popular line of small tri-hulls, and in 1985 the company introduced its first express cruiser, a 25-footer that laid the groundwork for its current Fiesta Vee series. Today the company builds a full series of affordably priced models from an 19-foot bowrider to a 43-foot express cruiser. |
