Designed by Paolo Scanu, Bushido has a steel hull, all teak deck and trim with a fairly heavy displacement and a very traditional appearance above the water line. The under water shape is modern with a separate rudder.
She offers accommodation for 8 guests in 4 double staterooms and a large deck saloon as well as a proper wheelhouse, which is quite a unique feature for a sailing yacht of this size.
With their own cockpit in the fore deck, the crew is completely separated from the guest area.
Bushido was constantly upgraded since new, and in 2007 the two original wooden masts were replaced by new aluminium masts and rig in order to improve her sailing performances.
