Description

Ray Atwood and his son Dan started Pro-Line Boats in 1968 as a small regional builder of dedicated fishing boats. The company experienced a period of steady growth through the 1970s and 1980s, and in 1989 Pro-Line was purchased by Ken Hall (formerly of Sea Ray) and a group of private investors. Over the years, Pro-Line has become well-known in the industry as a volume builder of durable, affordably priced fishing boats. When Pro-Line purchased Donzi Marine in 1993, Hall created a holding company (American Marine Holdings), which went on to purchase Phoenix Marine in 1995. Pro-Line has grown in recent years to offer a full line of performance fishing boats in center console, walkaround, express, and bay-boat configurations from 17 to 35 feet in length.
